 | 4th Oct 2009 to 11th Oct 2009 | Croatia
A week in sunny Croatia. We flew into Dubrovnic, then moved on to Korcula and finally Split. Beautiful country, a week was no way enough time!
|
 | 4th Sep 2009 to 6th Sep 2009 | The North Devon Coast
A weekend camping in North Devon, near Ilfracombe. A day walking some of the coast from Ilfracombe to Woolacombe, and a day in Lynton & Lynmouth.
|
 | 31st Jan 2009 | Skiing - Aple d'Huez, France
This year's annual ski trip was to Aple d'Huez, with slightly reduced numbers due to work & study commitments. We also 'roughed it' in an appartment, perhaps a wise option given the exchange rate! The powder on the last day will be remembered for years to come. Mmmm...

 | 29th Aug 2008 to 1st Sep 2008 | The Pembrokeshire Coast
A weekend camping in Pembrokeshire with Lucy, walking the Coastal Path, doing the tourist thing and generally chilling out.
|
 | 5th Jul 2008 to 13th Jul 2008 | Bruges, Amsterdam and Brussels
A week of city-hopping round the low countries. A nice, chilled out break, all by train for added carbon points.
|
 | 10th Feb 2008 to 17th Feb 2008 | Skiing - Sestriere
This years ski trip was to Sestriere, home of the 2006 Winter Olympics (Turin). Here's to some Olympic blacks and skiing to France. Oh, and lets have an extra shove for Italian lift queues...

 | 13th Sep 2007 to 18th Sep 2007 | Camping & Hiking in Snowdonia
Snowdonia, home to all the peaks in Wales over 3000 feet. Met up with Michael and his friends Miles and Philipp, to camp at the foot of Tryfan for 4 nights and attempt the whole set. I almost did, but had a day off due to a sore knee. Thanks must go to Miles' parents for dinners when the thrills of cooking in the wind and rain after dark wore off!

 | 17th Mar 2007 to 24th Mar 2007 | Skiing - Les Deux Alpes
The annual ski trip this year was to Deux Alpes. A return for some, but a first for most. Snow was good - we had powder for a lot of the week and the views were fantastic from the top. -20 on the glacier wasn't warm, though! As a bonus feature, there's far too many 'moose' shots and a few bad ski suits as well....

 | 10th Aug 2006 | Yorks 2006 - Whitby
Whitby for the classic British trip to the seaside. Mostly photos of the Abbey atop the headland, but some of the town as well. I've tried to sillouhette the abbey - it's easy to see how it inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula.

 | 9th Aug 2006 | York 2006 - Views from the York Eye
A few snaps of the lovely views from the York Eye - only a few, mind as you only get a short spell in the sky, and it's worth spending some of it without looking through a camera.
